The overall design of this console is incredible; the black finish combined with the natural wood texture looks stunning and very organic. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the drawer features a smooth soft-close mechanism, and the overall workmanship is truly top-tier.

After placing the order, I received the order confirmation quickly, and the shipping updates were also fairly timely. It was delivered by FedEx in about 5–7 business days. When the package arrived, it was placed in a dry area under the eaves, so I did not have to worry about it getting wet on a rainy day. I also installed a small hook on the left side of the console table to hang my bag, which has been very convenient. One small suggestion for future improvements would be to add wooden hooks on both sides of the table, so it can be even more practical for entryway use.

The actual color is very close to the pictures on the website. It is a nice black oak tone that looks coordinated next to light-colored walls and wood flooring. There was also no noticeable smell after I received it, which I was happy about. Although the drawer is not especially deep, it is wide enough for daily essentials like keys, sunglasses, and a small wallet. It makes the entryway look much cleaner and more organized.

The package was quite large when it arrived, weighing around 100 lbs, so it is easier if two people move it together. The assembly process was not as complicated as I expected. The instruction manual was clear and made the setup much easier for my husband and me. We followed the steps and finished it pretty quickly. Once placed in the entryway, the table felt very stable. I can put a lamp, photo frame, and vase on the tabletop without any issue.

Up close, the fluted detailing on the surface is very meticulous. It evokes a flowing, natural texture like water ripples. It adds significant depth and visual layering to the dark table.
